New patient examinations
We are currently accepting new patients at Dental House in Pinner. We understand that coming to the Dentist can be a daunting experience, therefore we offer an initial 45 minute appointment for all new patients so we can talk through each step at ease, this will also which include a full dental check-up as well as assessment and advice on any following treatment needed.
Tooth removal
Although we try our best to save as many teeth as we can, sometimes it may be necessary to remove teeth. Reasons why teeth may need removal include:
– Heavily cracked or fractured teeth
– Teeth with untreatable infections or abscesses
– Overcrowded teeth as part of orthodontic (brace) treatment
– Wobbly teeth
– Infected or impacted wisdom teeth
We understand the prospect of having a tooth removed may be daunting. Our friendly dental experts are on hand to make the procedure as comfortable as possible. We will ensure you are given sufficient local anaesthetic to numb your gum prior to removing any tooth. We will also give you all the relevant aftercare instructions to ensure the area heals as quickly and smoothly as possible.
If you are particularly anxious about removing a tooth, we also offer the option of conscious sedation to relax you during the procedure. Enquire now for more information on sedation techniques that may benefit you.
