New patient consultations
Dental House in Rayners Lane is open to new patients. Recognising that visiting the dentist can be an apprehensive experience, we provide an initial 45 minute appointment for all newcomers. This allows us plenty of time to discuss each step comfortably, including a comprehensive dental check-up and evaluation, along with advice on any necessary subsequent treatments from experienced dentists.
Tooth removal
While our priority at Dental House Pinner is to preserve teeth whenever possible, there are instances where tooth removal becomes necessary. Reasons for tooth extraction may include:
- Severely cracked or fractured teeth
– Teeth with untreatable infections or abscesses
– Overcrowded teeth as part of orthodontic (brace) treatment
– Loose teeth
– Infected or impacted wisdom teeth
We understand that the idea of tooth removal can be intimidating. Our approachable dental experts strive to ensure the procedure is as comfortable as possible. Adequate local anesthesia will be administered to numb your gum before any tooth removal. Additionally, we provide comprehensive aftercare instructions to promote swift and smooth healing.
If you are feeling particularly anxious about the procedure, we also offer conscious sedation as an option to induce relaxation during the extraction. Feel free to inquire for more information on sedation techniques that may suit your needs.
